Privacy policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

Our apps collect nothing. Encore and TTGR hold everything you enter on your own device. There is no account, no sign-up, no cloud and no tracking. We never see your results, and nothing is transmitted anywhere.

Our website collects only what you give us. If you join our mailing list or send us a message, we keep your email address and whatever you write. We don't sell anything on this site, so there are no payment details, orders, or addresses.

We don't sell your information. Not to anyone.

You can leave whenever you like. Unsubscribe from any email if applicable, or write to us and we'll delete you from our records.

The rest of this policy sets out the details.

1. Who we are and what this covers

This policy explains how Old Bull Health Pty Ltd, trading as Unpause Life, handles personal information. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean that business, and "you" means you.

It covers:

  • The unpauselife.com website and anything you send us through it.
  • The Encore app.
  • The TTGR apps.

It does not cover other companies' services that you reach from our site or our App Store listings. Apple, your email provider, your phone maker and any site we link to all have their own policies, and we have no control over them.

We are based in Australia, and this policy is governed by Australian law. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and, where they apply to you, with the UK GDPR and equivalent protections. If you are outside Australia, section 10 sets out the extra rights you may have.

"Personal information" means information about an identified individual, or one who is reasonably identifiable - your name and email address, for instance. It does not include information that cannot be linked to a person.

2. The apps: Encore and TTGR

Our apps collect no personal information. This is the whole design, not a technicality.

When you use Encore or a TTGR app:

  • There is no account. You do not sign up, log in, or give us an email address.
  • Everything you enter stays on your own device. Your answers, results, measurements and progress are stored in the app's own storage on your phone, or your phone's backup if applicable, and nowhere else.
  • Nothing is transmitted. The apps do not send your information to us, to Apple, or to anyone else. We never see it, and we could not retrieve it if we wanted to.
  • We do not collect analytics or track you. We do not record which screens you open, how long you spend, or whether you finish. We do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
  • The App Store provides us with standard basic data on downloads and regions, nothing that will personally identify anyone.
  • There are no third-party advertising networks and no in-app purchases.

Because nothing reaches us, there is no app data for us to disclose, sell, lose in a breach, or hand to anyone who asks.

What this means for you.

Your information is yours to keep and yours to lose. If you delete the app, everything in it is deleted. If you lose or replace your phone, your history does not follow you, because there is no cloud copy for it to come from. Back up your device if your history matters to you.

We cannot help you recover data. If you contact us having lost your results, we have nothing to restore. This is the trade-off for us holding nothing.

We cannot delete your app data for you, because we never had it. You delete it by deleting the app, or by using any reset option inside it.

Apple

You download our apps from the Apple App Store. Apple handles your purchase, your Apple Account and anything you choose to share with them - crash reports, for example, if you have turned that on in your device settings. That relationship is between you and Apple, under Apple's privacy policy, and we receive no personal information from it.

We do receive anonymous, aggregated sales and download figures from Apple, for example, totals by country. These contain no information about individuals and cannot be traced back to you.

3. The website: what we collect

Unpause Life is not a shop. We do not sell anything on this site, so we never ask for payment card details, billing addresses or delivery addresses, and we do not hold any.

We collect personal information in only two ways.

If you join our mailing list

You give us your email address and, if you choose, your first name. You give these to us deliberately, by typing them into a form. We do not take them from anywhere else.

We ask only for what we need. If a field is optional, leaving it blank costs you nothing.

When you contact us

If you email us or use a contact form, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write in your message.

Please do not send us detailed personal health information. We are not a clinic, and we are not your GP. If you describe a health issue in a message to us, we will have that information in our email records, and we would rather you kept it to yourself and took it to a health professional. If you do send it, we treat it as confidential and keep it only as long as we need to reply.

What we collect automatically

Like almost every website, our hosting provider records technical information when a page loads: your IP address, browser type, device type, the page you visited and when, and the site you came from. This is standard server logging, and we use it to keep the site running and secure.

We do not use this information to build a profile of you, and we do not combine it with your email address to work out what you personally have read.

What we never collect

  • Payment or credit card details. We sell nothing here
  • Government identifiers, dates of birth, or identity documents
  • Your location beyond the rough country your IP address suggests
  • Any information from the Encore or TTGR apps
  • Sensitive information as defined by the Privacy Act, unless you choose to put it in a message to us

4. How we use your information

We use what you give us for the purpose you gave it, and for nothing else.

We do not use your information to:

  • Make automated decisions about you

  • Work out anything about your health

If we ever want to use your information for something not listed here, we will ask you first.

5. Email and unsubscribing

You have to ask for it

We only email you if you have subscribed. We do not buy lists, scrape addresses, or add people who merely contacted us about something else.

What we send

Articles, app news, and occasional offers on Unpause Life and Old Bull Health products. We aim for useful rather than frequent.

Getting off the list

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off. You do not have to tell us why and you do not have to log in to anything.

If the link ever fails, email us at help@unpauselife.com, and we'll remove you by hand.

We act on unsubscribes immediately, and in any event within the time the law allows - which in the United States means within 10 business days.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop us replying to a message you have sent us.

6. Cookies

Our website uses a small number of cookies, which are text files your browser stores.

Essential cookies keep the site working — remembering that you dismissed a banner, or that you have already subscribed. Without them, the site does not function properly.

Analytics cookies, if enabled, tell us how many people visited a page and which pages are read. We use this to decide what to write next, not to identify you.

We may use advertising or retargeting cookies from time to time to support the efficiency and spend of ad campaigns we may run from time to time.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Essential cookies being blocked may break parts of the site.

Our apps use no cookies at all.

7. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We never have and we will not. We also do not rent it, trade it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business, and only so far as they need it to do their job:

Messages you send us

So we can read and reply

These providers are bound by their own agreements with us and may not use your information for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it - a court order, a subpoena, or a regulator exercising a lawful power or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety or to establish or defend a legal claim. We would tell you unless we were legally prevented from doing so.

If the business is ever sold or restructured, your information may transfer to the new owner, who would be bound by this policy or one no less protective.

Information held overseas

Some of our providers store data outside Australia, typically in the United States or the European Union. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, and, where the UK GDPR applies, that an approved transfer mechanism is in place.

The apps are not affected by any of this, because nothing from them ever leaves your phone.

8. Security and how long we keep things

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. The site runs over an encrypted connection, access to our mailing list is limited to the people who need it and protected by strong, unique passwords with two-factor authentication, and we choose providers with a credible security record.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information sent over the internet. What we can say is that we hold very little: an email address, a first name, and any message you chose to send. There is no database of health results to lose, because the apps never send us any.

If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires, and any other regulator the law requires.

How long we keep it

What

How long

Your mailing list details

Until you unsubscribe, or until you have been inactive for 24 months, whichever comes first

Messages you send us

As long as needed to deal with your enquiry, then up to 24 months

Server logs

Typically 30 to 90 days, depending on our host

App information

Not applicable — we never receive any

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it. Note that unsubscribing means we keep a minimal record of your address on a suppression list, so that we do not accidentally add you back. That record is used for nothing else.

9. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete your information
  • Stop emailing you

Email help@unpauselife.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity first; usually, just replying from the address we hold is enough.

Because we hold so little, most of these requests are quick. "What do you have on me?" is generally answered with an email address, a first name, and the date you subscribed.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union

Where the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to:

  • Object to processing based on our legitimate interests
  • Restrict processing while a dispute is resolved
  • Data portability — receive your information in a machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it
  • Complain to a supervisory authority: the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk in the UK, or your national authority in the EU

Our lawful basis for sending you marketing email is your consent. Our lawful basis for replying to your enquiries, and for keeping the site secure, is our legitimate interest in running the business.

If you are in the United States

We are a small Australian business and do not meet the thresholds that bring us within the California Consumer Privacy Act or the equivalent laws of other states. We nonetheless extend the rights above to you. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.

If you are in Australia

You have the rights set out in the Australian Privacy Principles, including access under APP 12 and correction under APP 13. Section 11 explains how to complain.

10. Children

Unpause Life is for adult women, and our apps are built for women over 50. Our website and apps are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us, and we will delete it.

11. Contact us and complaints

Old Bull Health Pty Ltd trading as Unpause Life, PO Box 545, Manly NSW Australia 1655 or help@unpauselife.com.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, tell us first. Email help@unpauselife.com with "Privacy complaint" in the subject line and set out what happened. We will acknowledge it within 5 business days and respond substantively within 30 days.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business changes or the law does. The version in force is always the one on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.

If we make a change that materially affects how we handle information you have already given us, we will email subscribers before it takes effect.
